Altoona, FL - Bicyclist Killed in Crash on State Road 19 at Shockley Trl.
Altoona, FL (March 30, 2023) - Police in Altoona were called to the scene of a deadly accident involving a bicycle on Thursday, March 30th. The accident reportedly occurred on State Road 19 at the intersection with Shockley Trail.
According to a report, the bicyclist was riding near the intersection when they were hit by a car. The rider, who was not identified, died at the scene of the collision. There were no other injuries reported in the accident. It is unclear if any charges are expected to be filed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time. No further information is available.
