Babson Park, FL - Woman Killed in Crash on Scenic Hwy. North
Babson Park, FL (March 22, 2023) - A woman was killed in a car accident that took place in Babson Park on Tuesday, March 21st. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Scenic Highway North near Waverly Road.
According to a report, a 53-year-old woman from Venice was driving a Kia Stinger when her car suddenly came to a stop in the westbound lanes of the road. The driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with the side of the Kia as it was stationary in the roadway. The 53-year-old woman in the Kia died in the crash while the 19-year-old Kia driver sustained minor injuries. There were no other vehicles involved.
The accident is under investigation. No further information has been released.
