Belle Glade, FL - Two Dead Following Crash on State Road 715
Belle Glade, FL (April 4, 2023) - Two people were killed in a crash that took place in Belle Glade on Monday, April 3rd. The accident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on State Road 715.
Police say that three men were riding in a 2021 Dodge Challenger. The car was traveling at a high rate of speed in the northbound lanes of State Road 715. Suddenly, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel into the southbound lane and strike an oncoming Ford F150. One passenger in the Challenger was ejected from the vehicle. Police pronounced two of the passengers dead at the scene. The Challenger driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. There is no word on whether the driver of the F150 was injured.
No one involved in the crash has been identified. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
More than 3,000 people will lose their lives each year in car accidents on Florida's roadways. These collisions occur at a moment's notice and can result in innocent victims being killed.
