Bradenton, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Crash on SR 70
Bradenton, FL (March 15, 2023) - A pedestrian in Bradenton was killed in a crash that took place on Tuesday, March 14th. The accident occurred just before 12:00 p.m. on State Road 70, just west of 87th Street East.
According to a report, a 64-year-old man was in the median of SR 70 when he tried to cross the westbound lanes of the roadway. The man was his by a motorcycle as he crossed the road. Both motorcyclists were ejected, and the bike flipped over. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The motorcyclists were also transported and treated for unknown injuries.
The accident remains under investigation at this time. There were no other reported injuries.
