Clermont, FL - Two Killed in Friday Crash on Turnpike

Clermont, FL (February 24, 2023) - Police in Clermont were at the scene of a deadly crash on Thursday, February 23rd. The crash happened on the Florida Turnpike and involved a total of six cars.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two tractor-trailers and four cars were involved in the crash. A driver and a passenger lost their lives in the accident. It is unclear if the driver and passenger were in the same vehicle. There is no word on exactly how the accident took place. The road was shut down for several hours. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene while officials investigated.
