Daytona Beach, FL - Woman Killed in Three-Car Crash on US 408
Daytona Beach, FL (March 23, 2023) - A woman from Daytona Beach died in a multi-car crash in Orlando on Thursday, March 23rd. The crash was reported around 6:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of SR 408 near mile marker 7.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was driving a 2005 Mazda 6 westbound when her car came to a sudden stop in the inside lane. The Mazda was hit from behind by a Chevrolet Silverado. The car was pushed forward and collided with a Ford F-150. The woman was rushed to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released.
No one else was injured in the accident. An investigation is ongoing.
