Daytona, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on SR 415

Daytona, FL (April 2, 2023) - A 53-year-old man from Heathrow was killed in a motorcycle crash near Daytona on Sunday, April 2nd. The crash took place just after midnight on State Road 415 near Quail Ranch Road.

According to a report, the victim was traveling southbound on his motorcycle when he collided head-on with an SUV. The rider, who was not identified, died at the accident scene. A female occupant of the SUV was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. There were no further injuries reported in the accident.

The cause of the accident is under investigation at this time. There is no further information available.
