DeLand, FL (April 6, 2023) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major car accident in DeLand on Thursday, April 6th. The crash took place around 7:30 p.m. on North Spring Garden Avenue at the intersection with Glenwood Road.

According to officials, the accident involved injuries to at least one person. When paramedics arrived, they began administering treatment at the scene. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. At this time, it is not clear how the crash took place. The road was partially blocked due to the accident as police urged motorists to find an alternate route of travel.

No further information has been released at this time.
