Deltona, FL - One Killed, Multiple Injured in Car Accident on SR 415

Deltona, FL (March 20, 2023) - The Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a deadly car accident on Monday, March 20th. The accident occurred in Deltona around 4:20 p.m.

Troopers were called to the scene of State Road 415 and Osceola Tram Road. According to a report, a total of three vehicles were involved in the collision. The accident took place when an SUV veered into the lane of a pickup truck. The truck then swerved to avoid a collision but struck another car. The pickup then caught fire, trapping the driver inside. He died at the scene. Four other people were transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
