Fort Myers, FL - Injury Accident on Treeline Avenue South near Jetport Loop

Fort Myers, FL (April 8, 2023) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash in Fort Myers on Saturday, April 8th. The crash occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Treeline Avenue South near Jetport Loop.

Officials say that at least two cars were involved in the accident. Injuries were reported, although the nature and extent of the injuries are unclear at this time. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur. The road was blocked due to the crash, prompting police to advise motorists to use alternate routes. It is not known whether any charges are expected to be filed.

An investigation remains ongoing. No further information is available.
