Jacksonville, FL - One Killed, 6-Month Old Hurt in Car Accident on US 301
Jacksonville, FL (April 11, 2023) - One person was killed, and a six-month-old baby was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 301 at Interstate 10 in Jacksonville. The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11th.
According to a report, three pickup trucks were involved in the accident. The crash happened when one of the trucks crossed over a median and struck the other two trucks head-on. A 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the crash scene, while a 6-month-old baby was treated for serious injuries. The wrong-way driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The identities of the victims have not been released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no further information available.
