Jacksonville, FL - Serious Car Accident in I-295 at Duval Rd.
Jacksonville, FL (April 7, 2023) - Police in Jacksonville responded to the scene of a serious car accident on Friday morning, April 7th. The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 295 at the off-ramp to Duval Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at least one person was injured in the collision. Paramedics and rescue workers responded to the scene. The injured victim was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. At this time, there is no word on the nature or the extent of the victim's injuries. The cause of the accident is not known.
The road was partially blocked while an investigation was conducted. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
