Jacksonvlle, FL - Multiple Hurt, Including Children, in Crash on Moncrief Rd.

Jacksonville, FL (February 5, 2023) - Authorities in Jacksonville were at the scene of a serious car accident on Saturday, February 4th. The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Moncrief Road at the intersection with Golfair Boulevard.

According to a report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a truck was traveling on Moncrief when it came to the intersection with Golfair. At the same time, a car with five passengers tried to make a left turn onto Golfair from Moncrief. The two vehicles collided, causing the truck to roll over and eject two children from the vehicle.

The two children were rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. An adult in the truck suffered life-threatening injuries. A child in the car was not seriously hurt. Police believe that the driver of the car was likely at fault when it failed to yield to the oncoming truck. 

No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Police are still investigating. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
