Jupiter, FL - Two Hurt, Including Deputy, in Turnpike Crash

Jupiter, FL (March 23, 2023) - A Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy was among the injured victims in a Jupiter car accident on Thursday. The crash happened around 4:50 a.m. on the Florida Turnpike near Indiantown Road.

Police say that the collision involved a truck and the deputy's cruiser. Both vehicles suffered heavy front-end damage in the accident. The deputy and driver of the truck were transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the accident has not been released. 

The accident is under investigation. No additional information has been released.
