Miami, FL - Driver and Police Officer Hurt in Crash on Ives Dairy Rd.
Miami, FL (March 6, 2023) - A police officer in Miami and another motorist were injured in a crash that took place on Monday, March 6th. The accident happened on Ives Dairy Road, just off Interstate 95.
According to officials, the officer was conducting a traffic stop on Ives Dairy. At the same time, another vehicle was exiting the highway. That vehicle collided with the officer's marked patrol car. The police car then crashed into another vehicle. The officer and the driver of the first car were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no additional injuries reported in the accident.
An investigation is underway at this time. There is no further information available.
