Miami, FL - Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on NW 79th St.

Miami, FL (March 16, 2023) - Police in Miami were called to the scene of a deadly hit-and-run accident in Miami on Wednesday, March 15th. The crash happened around 6:00 a.m. on Northwest 79th Street near Northwest 22nd Avenue.

According to authorities, an unidentified pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while walking on Northwest 79th Street. The driver of the car fled the scene after striking the pedestrian. Medical crews arrived and transported the victim to Ryder Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. There is no description of the vehicle or the subject available at this time. 

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with details on the crash should contact the Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers. No further information is available.
