Miami, FL - One Killed in Two-Car Accident on Okeechobee Rd.
Miami, FL (March 30, 2023) - The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a deadly car accident in Miami on Thursday morning, March 30th. The accident happened on Okeechobee Road at the intersection with Northwest 107th Avenue.
According to a report from officials, a Dodge pickup truck was traveling northbound on Okeechobee Road when the driver tried to make a left turn onto Northwest 107th Avenue. As the driver turned, his vehicle collided with a Lincoln SUV traveling southbound on Okeechobee. The driver of the pickup truck, identified only as an adult male, died at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.
The road was closed for several hours following the collision. Drivers were advised to avoid the scene and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
