Naples, FL - Bicyclist Killed in Crash with Car on Tamiami Trail
Naples, FL (March 11, 2023) - A bicyclist was killed in a crash that took place near Naples on Saturday, March 11th. The accident was reported around 10:30 a.m. on Tamiami Trail East near St. Andrews Boulevard.
According to a report from authorities, the rider was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries. The victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene. There were no other injuries reported. It is unclear how the accident happened at this time.
A portion of the roadway was closed while police investigated the collision. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible
