Naples, FL - One Dead, One Injured in Car Accident on Everglades Blvd.
Naples, FL (March 17, 2023) - One person was killed, and another was critically injured after a crash on Friday near Naples. The accident took place on Everglades Boulevard North.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 27-year-old man from Naples was driving southbound on Everglades Boulevard when the car traveled off the right to the right and struck a mailbox, a trashcan, and a tree. The driver of the car sustained critical injuries and was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center for treatment. A 28-year-old passenger from Naples was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither of the men has been identified. There were no other vehicles involved.
The accident remains under investigation at this time. No further details are available.
