Bicycle accidents in Florida claim the lives of about 100 people each year. Bicyclists face more extreme danger from crashes than other types of motorists due to the lack of protection offered by bicycles in the event of an accident. Unfortunately, riders will often experience serious injuries or even death if they find themselves in the unfortunate situation of being struck by another motorist.
Our condolences go out to the victim's family following this fatal bicycle crash in Ocala.
