Orange Park, FL (February 6, 2023) - Police in Orange Park were dispatched to the scene of a serious crash on Monday, February 6th. The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Blanding Boulevard near Wells Road.

Officials say that a 23-year-old man was operating his vehicle northbound on Blanding Boulevard when he was hit by an SUV that was also traveling northbound on Blanding. The driver of the second SUV was identified as a 36-year-old man. The 23-year-old man sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The 36-year-old was not injured in the collision. Neither of the men was identified. 

The accident is under investigation. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
