Orlando, FL - 66-Year-Old Woman Killed in Crash on Clarcona Ocoee Rd. at Lakeville Rd.
Orlando, FL (March 2, 2023) - A woman from Cleveland, Ohio, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Orlando on Wednesday night, March 1st. The accident happened on Clarcona Ocoee Road near Lakeville Road around 8:20 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the 66-year-old victim was standing on the sidewalk on Clarcona Ocoee Road when she left the sidewalk to try and cross the road. As she entered the roadway, she was hit by a 2014 Maserati driven by a 39-year-old man from Orlando. The woman, who was not identified, suffered critical injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and his passenger, an 8-year-old, were not injured in the crash. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved.
The crash is under investigation. No additional details have been released.
