Hit-and-run collisions are among the most common types of accidents that we see in Florida. Surprisingly, these accidents accounted for 20% of all total traffic-related collisions in our state last year. This means that more than 100,000 crashes were reported as a hit-and-run. Drivers who flee the scene of these accidents usually do so, knowing that their actions have resulted in a serious accident.
We would like to offer our most sincere condolences to the victim's family following this fatal hit-and-run crash in Orlando.
