Poinciana, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on N. Poinciana Blvd. at Calypso Cay Way
Poinciana, FL (April 15, 2023) - An Orlando man died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday afternoon near Poinciana. The crash took place on North Poinciana Boulevard near Calypso Cay Way.
Officials say that a 64-year-old Miramar man was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound on North Poinciana. At the same time, the motorcyclist, a 56-year-old man, was coming from the opposite direction. The Corolla attempted a left turn and entered the path of the motorcycle, causing a crash. The rider was ejected from his bike. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A passenger in the Corolla was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
