Tampa, FL - One Killed, Two Hurt in Crash on US 301
Tampa, FL (April 16, 2023) - A 93-year-old man was killed in a crash on US Highway 301 on Saturday afternoon, April 15th. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of US Highway 301 at the intersection with Bill Tucker Road.
According to police, the 93-year-old man was traveling southbound on US 301 when he tried to turn left onto Bill Tucker Road. The man's pickup truck collided with a sedan that was traveling northbound on Highway 301. The 93-year-old man died in the crash while the 17-year-old sedan driver was seriously hurt. His 19-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. No one involved has been identified.
The accident is under investigation.
