Tampa, FL - Pedestrian Injured in Accident on MLK Blvd.

Tampa, FL (October 20, 2021) - Police in Tampa are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Wednesday. The accident happened at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Frontage Road.

According to police, the pedestrian was hit while walking in the roadway. Following the crash, they were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur. The pedestrian has not been identified at this time. 

There is no further information available. An investigation is ongoing.
