Wellington, FL (March 9, 2023) - Police in Wellington were dispatched to the scene of a fatal car accident on Thursday afternoon, March 9th. The crash was reported just after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Greenview Shores Boulevard and Wellington Trace.

According to a report, a black BMW and a Jeep SUV collided with each other. The Jeep SUV caught fire after the accident. Rescue crews worked to extricate the occupant of the Jeep, but the victim ultimately succumbed to their injuries. At least one other person was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no information on what caused the crash to occur. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision at this time.
