Winter Park, FL - Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Crash on University Blvd.

Winter Park, FL (April 4, 2023) - A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident that took place near Winter Park on Monday, April 3rd. The crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of University Boulevard and Goldenrod Road. 

According to investigators, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on University when the driver struck a pedestrian who was walking near the road.  The man, who was not identified, died at the crash scene. The driver fled the scene, traveling eastbound on University Boulevard. Police described the vehicle as a dark blue Toyota Camry, model years 2014-2017.

There is no further information at this time. Anyone with details on the crash is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimeline.
