Zephyrhills, FL - Multiple Injuries in Crash Involving Cement Truck and Six Cars

Zephyrhills, FL (March 27, 2023) - Authorities in Zephyrhills responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident in Zephyrhills on Monday morning, March 27th. The crash took place on Eiland Boulevard, just west of Ryals Road. 

According to a police report, a total of six cars, including a cement truck, were involved in the accident. The crash occurred when the cement truck failed to stop at a traffic light and collided with a pickup truck, causing a chain-reaction collision with four other cars. The driver of the pickup, a 79-year-old Michigan man, was critically injured in the accident. The cement truck driver suffered serious injuries, while four others, including a 1-year-old boy, were also hurt. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.
