Hillsborough County, FL (August 27, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on I-275 in Hillsborough County. The crash happened near mile marker 42 around 8:50 p.m.
According to reports, at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The extent of the injuries sustained is unknown at this time. There is no word on the cause of the accident. The collision caused a roadblock at the scene as motorists were urged to find alternate routes for their travel while police and rescue workers were at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
