Daytona Beach, FL - Pedestrian in Serious Condition After Being Hit by Car on Nova Road

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Daytona Beach. The crash took place on Saturday, June 15th. According to reports from the Daytona Beach Police Department, 49-year-old Patricia Mortimer was crossing Nova Road when she was hit by a black Nissan Maxima. Mortimer was transported to Halifax Medical Center where she was listed in serious condition. Traffic homicide investigators arrived on the scene to look into the crash. Pompano Beach, FL - Three Cars, Including Sheriff’s Deputy, Involved in Crash on Powerline Road

Three cars were involved in a rear-end crash that took place in Pompano Beach on Monday, June 17th. The collision occurred on Powerline around 4:30 pm. The Broward Sheriff's Office was called to the scene in response to the collision. Deputies say that a blue sedan was traveling on Powerline Road when it rear-ended a marked Broward Sheriff's Office vehicle. The sheriff's vehicle then collided with a red sedan directly in front of it, in a chain-reaction style collision. The driver of one of the cars was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert. Jacksonville, FL - Two Injured in Fiery Head-On Crash Along Plummer Road

A fiery crash in Jacksonville between two cars sent both drivers to the hospital on Saturday, June 15th. The collision occurred around 9:00 am on Plummer Road. The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, along with police officers, responded to the crash scene. According to witnesses, an SUV and a Mini-Cooper collided with each other. A motorcyclist was hurt in a collision with a vehicle in the New Town area in Jacksonville on Monday, June 17th. The crash was reported around 7:30 am at the intersection of Beaver and Rushing Streets. Officers responded to the scene and discovered that a motorcycle had collided with an SUV. Two peopled were killed in a crash that took place in Ocala on Sunday, Jun 16th. The collision occurred on Northeast 14th Street. According to police reports, 33-year-old Milagros Soto was driving a 2008 Ford Focus in an eastbound direction on 14th. The Focus was traveling at a high rate of speed when Soto lost control of the car, entered a bicycle lane, struck the curb and then traveled onto the grassy shoulder before crashing into an oak tree. 25-year-old Joseph Perry was a passenger in the Focus at the time of the collision. Jacksonville, FL - Man on Motorbike Killed in Hit-and-Run

A man riding a motorbike was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle in Jacksonville on Sunday, June 16th. The collision took place on Butler Boulevard. According to troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol, a 34-year-old biker was traveling eastbound on Butler near Gate Parkway when his mini bike was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene after striking the man. When rescue workers arrived on the scene they pronounced the man dead from his injuries. Jacksonville, FL - Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Semi-Truck While Walking Along I-95

A pedestrian is dead following an early morning incident involving a semi-truck. The crash took place on I-95 around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15th. Authorities report that the crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the highway. There, a pedestrian was walking along the roadway when a semi-truck, traveling in the same direction, struck the pedestrian as he stepped into the street. The right front bumper of the semi-truck made contact with the pedestrian. The pedestrian, who has not been identified at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. A crash between a car and a motorcycle left two people hurt on Saturday, June 15th. The crash happened near Julington Creek, on State Road 13 at Lemonwood Road.
