Cocoa, FL - Multiple Injuries Reported in Airboat Crash at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp

An airboat crash near the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp left multiple people injured on Thursday, January 10th. The Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the incident near State Road 520 on the St. Johns River. Crews were able to determine that three people were injured in the crash. A Good Samaritan allowed fire rescue workers to use a boat in order to rescue people trapped on the airboat. A total of three people suffered injuries in the crash. One of the injured victims was sent to the trauma unit at a nearby hospital. There is no word on their condition at this time. Read More

St. Johns County, FL - Man Killed in I-95 Crash Identified

The victim of a deadly multi-vehicle crash in St. Johns County has been identified by police. Just before 5:00 am on Thursday, January 10th, three vehicles were involved in a collision in I-95 near the exit with US 1. Police say that a woman driving a Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound when she lost control and hit a guardrail before coming back on the highway and being struck by two other vehicles. A passenger in the Corolla, 25-year-old Jose Vazquez-Trujillo of Palm Coast, was killed in the crash. The Corolla Driver, 25-year-old Dhayre Oquendo, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Halifax Hospital. Two children were also hurt in the crash and were taken to Flagler Hospital for treatment. Fort Lauderdale, FL - Two People, Including Infant Hospitalized Following Four-Car Crash

A four-car crash in Fort Lauderdale resulted in injuries to at least two people on Thursday, January 10th. The crash took place just after 9:00 pm. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department and Fire Rescue units responded to the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and West Broward Boulevard in reference to the crash. There, they located an adult female and an infant that had been injured in the accident. The infant was taken to Broward Health Medical Center. St. Petersburg, FL - Bicyclist Dies in Crash on 64th Street South

Police are looking into a fatal bicycle crash in St. Petersburg. The crash happened around 7:20 am on Thursday, January 10th. The bicyclist was riding on 64th Street South near Bougainville Avenue and 6th Avenue South when he was struck by a Nissan Altima. The bicyclist suffered critical injuries and later succumbed to the injuries. Hillsborough County, FL - Tampa Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Five-Vehicle Crash

A 76-year-old Tampa resident has died from injuries he suffered in a five-vehicle crash on Thursday, January 9th. The crash happened on US 301, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The man has not been identified at this time pending notification of his family. Police say that the crash occurred around 5:25 pm in the northbound lanes. At that time, a Toyota Sienna and a Chevrolet pickup were stopped for traffic. The man, who was driving a 2008 GMC Envoy collided with the Toyota, which then collided with the Chevrolet. Palm Beach County, FL - Four-Vehicle Crash Leaves Three Hurt, One Critical

A four-vehicle crash on Florida's Turnpike left three people suffering from injuries with one person critically hurt. The accident took place on Thursday, December 10th in Palm Beach County. According to Lt. Al Feola of the Florida Highway Patrol, the four vehicles were involved in the crash near Okeechobee Boulevard just after 12:30 pm. The crash caused the roadway to be closed down in the affected area while troopers worked at the scene. All of the injured victims were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach. A 15-year-old student was seriously hurt after being struck by a teacher's car while she was walking to school on Wednesday, January 9th. The incident took place outside of Gulf High School in New Port Richey. According to reports, the girl, who is a freshman at the school, was walking near a crosswalk when she was struck by the vehicle. Boca Raton, FL - Passenger Dies in I-95 Rollover Crash

A 34-year-old passenger was killed and another was seriously hurt when a vehicle rolled over on Interstate 95 in Boca Raton. The rollover crash took place around 7:00 pm on Monday, January 8th. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2005 BMW collided with a 2006 Toyota 4Runer in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Glades Road. The impact caused the 4Runner to spin in a clockwise direction and then roll over. Miguel Angel Garcia was a passenger in the 4Runner when the crash occurred. Jacksonville, FL - One Dead, Several More Hurt in I-95 Crash on Thursday Morning

An early morning crash on I-95 in Jacksonville has resulted in the death of at least one person. The crash took place around 4:50 am on Thursday, January 10th.
