Alva, FL (July 1, 2019) - A crash involving two boats in Alva resulted in one person being airlifted to the hospital. The incident occurred near Myers Gully Lane according to a representative with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.
Reports indicate that, following the crash, a nearby Good Samaritan spotted one of the injured victims. The Good Samaritan took the victim ashore and provided treatment. Rescue workers arrived and the person was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The Fish and Wildlife Commission along with rescue workers from the Leigh Acres Fire Department responded to assist the victims. There is no word on how the crash took place.
