Apopka, FL (March 6, 2019) - One person is dead and another was hurt on Wednesday, March 6th in a fiery crash that took place in Apopka. Officers report that the crash took place around 3:00 a.m. near Apopka Boulevard and Sugar Pine Road.
According to reports, a vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire. Police are looking into the cause of the crash and have not released an official reason at this time. One person died from injuries sustained in the accident and a second was seriously hurt. Officers have not identified the victims, nor have they said whether the crash affected a driver, a passenger, or both.
Officers remained on-scene and investigated following the accident. No further details have been released.
