A bicyclist in Seminole County was killed in a crash with a vehicle. The accident happened on Thursday, January 31st on US 17-92 near Fernwood Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene and arrived just after 5:00 pm. Once they arrived, authorities were able to determine that a vehicle had collided with a bicycle. Osceola County, FL - Mathew Greenberg Killed After Vehicle Struck on Highway 192

A man from Fort Pierce was killed in a crash on US Highway 192 on Thursday, January 31st. Police say that Mathew Greenberg, 29, was driving a 2002 Hyundai when he stopped his vehicle in the outside lane of the highway. Greenberg, whose car was disabled for unknown reasons, stepped out of the vehicle. At the time Greenberg was out of the vehicle, a 2004 semi truck was traveling towards him in the eastbound lanes of Highway 192. The truck collided with both the Hyundai and Greenberg. A couple was hurt when they were hit by a driver while walking along a sidewalk in St. Augustine on Tuesday, January 29th. Police say that 29-year-old Justin Lee Edwards was pulling out of a parking lot when he lost control of his truck. The truck veered off the roadway and crashed into a man and woman who were walking on a sidewalk. The couple was forced through a concrete wall and into a fence by the force of the collision. A woman suffered severe injuries, including two broken legs. The man sustained a leg wound and a neck injury. Both victims were airlifted to Orange Park Medical Center. Ruskin, FL - 1-Year-Old Child Dead After Being Run Over by Vehicle Near Home

A 1-year-old child was killed after being run over by a vehicle near his home on Tuesday, January 29th. Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office were called to a mobile home park in on 27th Street Southeast in Ruskin around 2:00 pm. A neighbor who witnessed the event said that the child was playing in his front yard with a dog. At the same time, a neighbor was attempting to leave the boy's residence. The neighbor struck the boy as she pulled out of the driveway. The young child was rushed to St. John's Hospital South where he was pronounced dead just before 3:00 pm. Read More

A 40-year-old woman died and another person sustained serious injuries in a chain-reaction style crash that took place in St. Petersburg on Monday, January 28th. Officers say that 47-year-old David Yancey was driving a 2009 Victoria Express taxi southbound on 49th Street. Heather Scozarro, 40, was a passenger in the taxi. The taxi rear-ended a 2018 Chevy Tahoe driven by 78-year-old John McVey at an intersection. McVey was stopped for a red light at the time of impact. Fort Lauderdale, FL - Elderly Man Hurt After Becoming Trapped Between Dump Truck

An elderly man was injured after his car was hit by a dump truck and he became trapped inside his vehicle. The incident happened on Tuesday, January 29th in the 1600 block of Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Police said that the driver, who has not been identified, was in his lane of travel when a dump truck driver lost control and veered into the oncoming travel lane.
