Melbourne, FL - Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital Following Crash with Vehicle

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a vehicle on Tuesday, January 15th. The crash happened around 7:22 am on US 1 and Post Road. According to Melbourne EMS Chief Phil Leitz, the motorcyclist was airlifted to a nearby hospital following the accident. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt. Miami, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Car on Biscayne Boulevard

Police are looking into a fatal motorcycle crash that took place in Miami on Monday, January 14th. The accident happened around 5:00 pm on Biscayne Boulevard. Miami Police along with traffic homicide detectives arrived on scene in an effort to determine how the crash took place. The crash occurred at the intersection of Biscayne and Northeast 62nd Street. Although details are unclear at this time, a black sedan could be seen at the crash site along with the motorcyclist, who was lying in the roadway following the collision. North Fort Myers, FL - 12-Year-Old Girl Killed Walking Sister to Bus Stop

A 12-year-old girl was tragically killed while walking her 9-year-old sister to a bus stop in North Fort Myers on Monday, January 14th. Alana Tamplin was walking with her sister, Brooklyn, along Durrance Road to the bus stop about a quarter of a mile from their home. As Alana's sister boarded the bus, she turned around to walk home with another 12-year-old girl. Okeechobee, FL - Anthony Michael Pipitone Killed in Sunday Hit-and-Run

A 38-year-old man died in a crash in Okeechobee on Sunday, January 15th. Authorities say that Anthony Michael Pipitone was walking along Highway 441 near SE 99th Trail when he was struck by a vehicle. The car fled the scene after striking Pipitone. Pipitone was later pronounced dead. At this time, investigators believe that Pipitone was walking on the side of the road when he fell down and was hit by the car. Read More

Bushnell, FL - Passenger Dies when ATV Overturns

An ATV passenger died when the vehicle he was riding in overturned on Sunday, January 13th. 24-year-old Austin C. Craig was riding in the ATV around 9:00 pm on Sumter County Road 546 when the vehicle overturned for unknown reasons. Craig was taken to Leesburg Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. A bicycle crash on US 41 in Pasco County left a woman with serious injuries. The crash took place on Monday, January 14th around 1:00 pm. The Pasco Fire Rescue was called to the scene to assist the injured bicyclist. Authorities say that an SUV struck the bicyclist although it is unclear exactly how the accident took place. Tampa, FL - Victims in Fatal Scooter Crash Identified

The two people killed in a Tampa scooter accident over the weekend have been identified by police. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the double-fatal accident on Saturday, January 12th on Garland Court. According to initial reports, the scooter was struck by a vehicle while attempting to make a left turn onto North Florida Avenue. The victims were identified as 17-year-old Valentina Llanos and 19-year-old Natalia Luna. Llanos was the driver of the scooter while Luna was a passenger. Both were ejected following the accident. Charlotte County, FL - Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Crash with Vehicle

A motorcyclist in Charlotte County is in critical condition following a crash with a vehicle in Charlotte County. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of El Jobean and Newcomb Road around 11:00 am on Saturday, January 12th. Investigators learned that 64-year-old Kristen Holmberg was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on El Jobean. A 60-year-old man is dead following a crash involving his bicycle and another vehicle in DeBary. The crash happened just before 8:30 pm on Saturday, January 12th. According to reports, David M. Newland was riding his bicycle on Charles R. Beall Boulevard near Palmira Road. Newland was traveling westbound when he struck the passenger side of a Dodge Ram traveling northbound. North Naples, FL - Two Dead in Four-Car Collision on Sunday

A four-car collision in North Naples left two people dead on Sunday, January 13th. The crash took place on Collier Boulevard at the intersection of Immokalee Road. The North Collier Fire Rescue District responded first to the scene. At least two people were pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.
