Sarasota, FL - Two Drivers Suffer Serious Injuries in Friday Crash

Two drivers suffered serious injuries in a crash that took place on Friday, May 31st. The collision occurred around 6:55 a.m. on State Road 45. According to reports, 62-year-old Miriam Bizarro was driving a 2018 Toyota RAV4 when she came to a stop sign near the intersection with US-41 and State Road 45. Bizarro attempted to make a left turn at the stop sign but instead drove directly into the path of a 2010 Hyundai Accent driven by 61-year-old Shelby Atkins. Jacksonville, FL - Injury Crash Reported on Collins Road at Blanding Boulevard

A crash involving injuries was reported on Thursday, May 31st. The crash took place on Collins Road, near the intersections with Blanding Boulevard and Roosevelt Boulevard. St. Augustine, FL - Kenneth Joseph Smith Killed in Rest Area Crash on I-95

A 78-year-old man from Port St. Lucie is dead following a crash at a rest area along I-95. The crash took place on Wednesday, May 29th, near mile marker 302. According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, Kenneth Joseph Smith was traveling northbound through the rest area. As he was traveling northbound, Smith collided with the rear end of a second vehicle. The impact of the crash caused Smith's car to veer off the road and into a ditch. Rescue workers rushed Smith to Flagler Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Boynton Beach, FL - One Killed in Fiery Crash Involving Multiple Trucks

A fiery crash involving multiple trucks left one driver dead on Thursday, May 30th. The crash occurred on I-95 around 5:00 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The series of events began when two semi-trucks traveling southbound on I-95 came to a stop in a construction zone. A third semi-truck, also traveling southbound, failed to stop and crashed into one of the trucks. This set off a chain reaction in which the second truck crashed into the first, causing two of the trucks to burst into flames. The heat from the fire caused two of the trucks to melt together. Monroe County, FL - Bicyclist Killed on US-1 in the Florida Keys

A pedestrian was killed in a crash on US-1 in the Florida Keys on Wednesday, May 29th. The crash took place near mile marker 10 in the Big Coppitt Key around 10:05 p.m. According to crash reports, a 59-year-old man tried to cross the Overseas Highway from east to west. At the same time, a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 40-year-old Jason Taylor, was traveling northbound. The passenger side of Taylor's car struck the unidentified victim. An ambulance and a motorcycle were involved in a collision on Tuesday, May 28th. The crash happened around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of US-41 and East Apex Lane. According to preliminary reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Stephanie M. Bryant was driving an ambulance in the southbound lanes of US-41 when she attempted to make a left turn. As she turned, Bryant collided with an oncoming motorcycle driven by 45-year-old William Philip Freeman. Bryant and a passenger got out and treated Freeman at the scene. Osceola County, FL - 75-Year-Old Man Dies While Crossing US-192

A 75-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle was trying to cross US-192. The accident happened on Wednesday, May 29th, around 4:00 a.m. Police report that 24-year-old Jonathan Nieves Santiago was driving eastbound on US-192 when he struck the pedestrian, who was later identified as Roger Stone. Stone was hit by the front of Santiago's truck. He was not in a crosswalk or other marked area when the crash took place. Stone was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.
