Hillsborough County, FL - Car Accident with Injuries on Eisenhower Boulevard

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an injury crash on Wednesday, September 30th. The crash took place on Eisenhower Boulevard near the intersection with Memorial Highway. Troopers were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 p.m. Once they arrived, they located at least one person suffering from serious injuries caused by the crash. Largo, FL - Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Tuesday Crash on East Bay Drive

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt following a crash that took place in Largo on Tuesday, September 29th. The crash happened along East Bay Drive near the intersection with Newport Drive around 9:30 p.m. According to reports from the scene, the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on East Bay when a Ford Fusion traveling westbound turned left into its path. The motorcycle and the Fusion collided with one another. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Manatee County, FL - Two Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run on U.S. 41

Two people suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash that took place in Manatee County on Wednesday, September 30th. The crash happened on U.S. 41 near Westmoreland Drive. According to police, an 87-year-old man from Port Charlotte made a left turn and collided with an oncoming Ford pickup truck. The SUV then overturned and flipped several times before coming to rest in an upright position. The Port Charlotte man fled the crash scene shortly after impact and before police could arrive. A 28-year-old Bradenton woman and a 6-year-old boy in the SUV suffered serious injuries. A 57-year-old man Bradenton man sustained minor injuries. Lauderhill, FL - One Killed in Rollover Crash Between Two Vehicles on State Road 7

A fatal hit-and-run crash was reported in Lauderhill on Monday, September 28th. The crash took place around 11:00 a.m. along State Road 7 near the intersection with Northwest 16th Street. According to a report from the scene, a red SUV collided with a green BMW. The SUV rolled over following the impact. The green BMW then fled the scene after the crash. Two children inside the BMW were later located by police, however, the driver is still at-large at this time. Melbourne, FL - Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Crash on State Road A1A

A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a van in Melbourne on Saturday, September 26th. The crash took place around 5:00 p.m. on Highway A1A near Paradise Boulevard. According to reports from the scene, a minivan was traveling southbound along A1A when it left the roadway and struck a woman who was walking on the sidewalk. The woman sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. After the crash, the minivan driver fled the scene. Surveillance footage in the area captured the crash on camera. The van is described as being maroon or burgundy with black rims. It is expected to have significant damage to the bumper and fender on the passenger side. Read More

Alachua County, FL - One Killed in Crash Between Dump Truck and Semi on U.S. 441

Police were on the scene of a serious crash involving a dump truck and a tractor-trailer in Alachua County on Tuesday, September 29th. The crash took place on U.S. 441 near the intersection with County Road 235A. According to officials, at least one person was killed in the crash. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating following a head-on crash in Sumter County. The crash took place on Sunday, September 27th around 11:00 p.m. Officials responded to the scene near the intersection with State Road 50. According to police, a 27-year-old man from Tampa was driving an SUV northbound on SR 471 when he tried to pass another vehicle. As he veered into the southbound lane, the man collided with a semi-truck. The SUV rolled over and came to rest on its side. Englewood East, FL - Motorcyclist Killed, Two Hurt in Crash on Oceanspray Boulevard

A 65-year-old motorcyclist from Port Charlotte was killed in a crash on Oceanspray Boulevard Sunday. The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. near the intersection with McCall Road. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan was traveling on McCall when it attempted to make a right turn onto Oceanspray. The sedan turned directly into the path of the motorcycle, causing a collision. The 65-year-old male motorcyclist, along with his 29-year-old female passenger, were thrown from the bike. The male died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash while the female suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Pierson, FL - One Killed in Three-Car Crash on U.S. 17

One person was killed in a three-car crash that took place in Pierson on Monday, September 28th. The crash happened in the 800 block of U.S. 17 around 2:05 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved a large pickup truck and two other vehicles. Following the collision, the pickup rolled over and came to rest in a ditch along the side of the roadway.
