Many people are injured in accidents that involve one vehicle. Single-vehicle accidents can still be as devastating as those that involve multiple vehicles. If you have been injured in one of these accidents, you might wonder how you can compensate from a party who was not looking out for your safety in a negligent situation.
Two people were injured in a crash that took place in Suwannee County around 3:10 a.m. Friday. The crash took place on 80th Terrace near the county airport. A driver of a Mitsubishi 4-door was traveling west at the time and suddenly drove off the road, striking a tree. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Austin Rio Del Campo, who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. His passenger was identified as 25-year-old Savannah Smith, who had to be airlifted with serious injuries.
Campo was cited for careless driving. At this time, police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
