Boca Raton, FL (April 6, 2021) - A 17-year-old boy died in a crash on the Florida's Turnpike on Tuesday. The accident took place in the southbound lanes near mile marker 74 in Boca Raton.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. According to troopers, at least one vehicle was seen upside down in the middle lanes of the roadway. There is no word on the cause of the collision at this time or the number of vehicles involved. The collision resulted in all lanes of the Turnpike being closed until approximately 4:00 p.m. Police have not said how many people were injured as a result of the collision.
