Boca Raton, FL (August 13, 2019) - A pedestrian was injured after she was hit by a vehicle in Boca Raton. The crash occurred on Monday, August 12th, around 8:09 p.m., at the intersection of Palmetto Park Road and Ponderosa Drive.
Firefighters were the first to arrive on the scene and located the woman lying in the roadway. She was suffering from serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle at the location. The woman, who was not identified, was rushed to a local trauma center to undergo treatment. Her condition is not known at this time. No further details were released regarding the cause of the crash or the circumstances surrounding it. It is unclear if anyone else was hurt.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
