Bonita Springs, FL (June 29, 2021) - A 12-year-old girl suffered serious injuries following a four-car crash in Bonita Springs on Monday, June 28th. The accident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on Interstate 75 near Bonita Beach.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. According to a report, a 57-year-old man from Tampa was driving a van with seven passengers when he rear-ended a pickup truck that was slowed due to traffic. The van then hit a guardrail and a cable barrier before coming to rest. Debris from the crash struck another sedan before all vehicles came to rest. The 12-year-old girl sustained serious injuries while eight others sustained minor injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. An investigation remains ongoing.
