Bradenton, FL (December 28, 2018) - A three-vehicle crash in Bradenton has resulted in at least one fatality according to police. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 on Friday, December 28th.
The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene near mile marker 216 at approximately 6:35 am in reference to the crash. When troopers arrived, they discovered that three cars were involved. At least one person has been pronounced dead although they have not been identified at this time. Troopers have not released any additional details on how the crash happened or which driver could be at fault.
The crash caused significant delays in the northbound lanes during rush hour as the roadway was blocked for investigation. No further details are currently available.
