Bradenton, FL (September 7, 2018) - An elderly woman died in a Thursday crash in Bradenton. Around 2:30 pm, Wilda Mae Svoboda was traveling in the eastbound lanes of SR270. She came to a stop and attempted to turn left onto 37th Street E. As she was making the turn, her car was struck by another vehicle. The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries in the collision. Sadly, Svoboda succumbed to her injuries.
There is no information on how the crash occurred. No charges have been filed at this time.
