Bradenton, FL (March 9, 2019) - Four people suffered injuries, including two who were seriously hurt, in a two-car crash that took place on Friday, March 8th.
Police report that a 2006 Nissan Murano was traveling northbound on 30th Street East when the 35-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle and veered onto the roadway shoulder. The driver then over-corrected and drove into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane, striking a 2010 Hyundai Sonata head-on. A bicyclist was also struck when one of the vehicles rotated clockwise after impact.
The Sonata driver and a 58-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment. The Murano driver and the bicyclist suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Police issued a careless driving charge to the Murano driver following the crash.
