Bradenton, FL (August 28, 2021) - Police in Bradenton responded to a car accident with injuries on Friday morning. The collision happened on State Road 62 near the intersection with Walker Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 28-year-old Lakes Wales man was driving west on SR 62 when he collided with the rear of a second vehicle that had pulled off the road just outside the westbound lanes. The second vehicle overturned onto its roof. The 28-year-old man suffered critical injuries while a 60-year-old and 77-year-old man were transported with serious injuries. The crash caused the road to be closed for nearly four hours while officials investigated at the scene.
There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No additional information is available.
