Bradenton, FL (July 24, 2021) - A 54-year-old man from Bradenton was killed in a crash that took place on Friday, July 23rd. The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and 27th Avenue West.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. According to a report from troopers, the pedestrian attempted to cross the highway when he was hit by a pickup truck that was being driven by a 71-year-old man from Bradenton. The unidentified pedestrian died at the accident scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No further information is available.
