Brevard County, FL (November 26, 2019) - Two people are dead following a crash in Brevard County. The crash occurred on Tuesday, November 26th around 6:00 p.m.
Authorities responded to the scene at mile marker 221. According to reports, a semi-truck and a pickup truck pulling a trailer crashed into one another. There is no word on what led up to the crash. Rescue workers arrived on scene shortly after the accident. One person was pronounced dead at the scene while a second person was taken to a hospital and later succumbed to their injuries. The identity of the deceased victims has not been released at this time.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating the crash. No additional details are available at this time.
Fatal crashes are reported about eight times per day in our state. This includes taking photos of the scene and documenting the conditions of each vehicle.
