Brevard County, FL (July 6, 2018) – On Thursday evening, an Eau Gallie Exit crash took place on Interstate 95 in Brevard County. It sent multiple patients to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the incident.
The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. There were three occupants inside one vehicle, who needed to be extricated because of how badly the vehicle was damaged. They were sent into the woods alongside the road due to the impact. Two of them sustained non-critical injuries and the last was put on a trauma alert.
With first responders working, it took about 52 minutes to safely extract the occupants from the vehicle.
At this time, investigators are attempting to piece the scene together to determine how the accident took place on the Interstate.
