There will be more approximately 100 fatalities related to bicycle crashes in Florida this year. While bicycle accidents are not as prominent as accidents involving vehicles, they still occur regularly. When a bicycle crash occurs, the victim is likely to suffer serious injuries due to the force of a much larger object colliding with the bicycle. Many bicyclists are killed or injured due to the negligence of other motorists.
Police will continue to investigate this crash to determine the cause. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family affected by this tragic crash.
