Broward County, FL (April 13, 2021) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal crash on Interstate 95 on Monday morning. The collision happened around 7:15 a.m. near Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
According to a report from the scene, an SUV, a motorcycle and a sedan were all involved. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. The accident caused the southbound lanes of I-95 to be shut down until approximately 10:15 a.m. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel and to expect delays at the scene. There is no word on the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved.
An investigation is ongoing.
